My girlfriend picked it up yesterday while I was at work and we watched it when I got home
 I originally watched it in an IMAX theater so this time we got to watch it without straining our necks or taking off our 3D glasses haha

Got mine and watched the first time Friday the second and third time Saturday and forth and fifth times Sunday then Monday I watched the full length doc Monday after work so yea I love it

I don't have one yet, but I expect we'll be getting one--my wife absolutely loves BB-8.  I'm totally fine with this, BTW. I'm so fine with it that I probably won't even use it as an excuse to get another saber. "Hey, you got a Star Wars thing for you, I get one for me!"

I watched the movie and wondered if they used Saberforge or any other type of replica sabers for the lighting effects while filming. In the special features they show they were using lighted sabers. The original movies didnt have the light shining on the actors faces because they added the rotoscoping technique later. But this time it was easy to get it lit correct with sabers that were already the right color and lit up. Then they just did the special effect to make the light more impressive.
I got the metal box version with digital movie, so it includes Blu Ray, DVD and apple TV version. Great movie to start the new age collection. Im very happy that they are moving the release dates of movies to only a few months lately. |

They apparently contacted a bunch of sabersmiths but they're all under NDA so we have no idea what they used or what they talked about.
Also, all the releases come with the same discs and Digital HD options (I redeemed mine on Google Play). The only unique thing you got was the steel case. |

Unless I'm looking in the wrong places, the U.K. Release on DVD is going to be a bit pants. No extras at all.
The Blu-Ray will be full of the extras, but I have yet to see a triple-release UK version with Blu-Ray, DVD and download |

In other news, I hear new deleted scenes will be released soon.......why wasn't this stuff ready for the disc release??? Idiotic. They're really trying to push away from physical media.
