So I was poking around and here's about the smallest I could make without being super fussy on .xx of an inch. Mostly used Gladius parts haha.

Zed, that actually doesnt look bad. For a one hander I bet your hand would be nice and cozy in that grip.

I did notice when I was playing around that the Gladius did seem to make a smaller hilt. I just wasnt sold on how Star Warsy it looked but I really like the idea of such a tight hand position. Plus I was only thinking of a warrior anyway

Ttocs if this saber is only a stunt, then maybe a slight mod to this Mauler body section to incorporate a knob as a switch. Just a thought, here are my contributions.

All right at or slightly under 9"

That was at a quick scan through the parts. There are many parts that are close the same measurements, maybe .1"-.5" bigger than each piece I chose so you could still get it within 6.5"-8" which would be quite reasonable for a one handed weapon and still make it look slick.

Also, I was also kinda drawn to the basic look of the gladius. Reminds me of the some of sabers from the old Jedi Knight games for that 'standard jedi' look.

Thats cool as my premis is that his back up/dagger is his original padawan saber. He infused it with Darkside energy after his full conversion. He now uses it as a sneak attack/assassination weapon that he sends spinning defensively about himself while weilding his two handed Vanquish in full combat.

Hey Zed, the measurement on those parts, have to be wrong. The Gladius body is listed @2.3" It's visibly longer than the Gladius emitter which is listed @2.9" That configuration is cool but it's not as small as the builder claims. Alot of the part measurements are incorrect. :(
