Faethien, thanks for the input. I think we almost have different view of the trauma Rekon felt during order 66. I feel like it would only intensify the anger already present in him. Although initially, this may feel overwhelming to him, I think that after a certain amount of time (he has ~20 years of isolation and training) he would learn to control them. He isn't killing empire supporters because his anger makes him, rather he is killing them because he wants to. As Terry Pratchet once wrote: "If you have to look along the shaft of an arrow from the wrong end, if a man has you entirely at his mercy, then hope like hell that man is an evil man. Because the evil like power, power over people, and they want to see you in fear. They want you to know you're going to die. So they'll talk. They'll gloat. They'll watch you squirm. They'll put off the moment of murder like another man will put off a good cigar. So hope like hell your captor is an evil man. A good man will kill you with hardly a word."
Duokun, thank you for the advice. It might be possible to find Beskar, but I feel like it is too difficult (to write, that is). I was having a hard time finding a reason that someone, whether a family, miner, or someone else, would give some valuable metal like beskar to an almost complete stranger. I have decided to stick with a durasteel/obsidian lightsaber for now.
