Currently mine resides with the blade removed on a shelf in my office at home. I intend to build a bookshelf around my television stand, which is about 1.5 meters long and build shelving above the television to hold mine and the one I plan to get for my wife. It should be long enough to have the blades installed while resting on the shelf.
Might see if I can get the charging cables up the back as well, out of sight behind the television so that they can charge up there too. That'd be nice. |

I would like to find the Samurai sword stand that sets up wards not the sideways kind that has the extra place for the scabbard. I want to place mine in the corner of the room with blade installed.

I cut the buckle off and the knotted end and just used short wood screws to the board. And on the back I placed two eye screws in to wrap the picture wire and the covertech just slips in place like a belt. I'll take a pic with out the saber on so you can get an idea. |

I was looking at the large scale Gundamn display boxes, from what I could see they are all clear with so I wont have to worry about any solid bracing being in the way from viewing it from all sides. I have to do a little more research to see if I can actually fit my saber in

When I got my Reborn I decided to make a stand out of Legos. I have remade the stand a number of times and this is the final version (for now).
Not as impressive as some others, but it suits me. |

Just got a sweet stand for my SK and Phoenix from Darklytecustoms. It's made of acrylic and it is made pretty well. A lot cheaper than the fancier stands SF offers. Barely got it in today and tomorrow another stand from Darklytecustoms will come in just for my Graflex 2.0 from Parks sabers as Graflexes need a special stand. I put up a shelf right above my bed's headrest and its looking great so far. I'll post a picture of it later.

I use a simple katana stand and have my one and only saber (Champion Disciple, Medium Blue 12+w, Cobalt Stingray wrap) on the top of the shelves in my den.
 The rest of my den has my other collection in it... similar to lightsabers just a bit sharper.  Thought you lot might appreciate it. Can't post all the pictures since it won't let me do too many links, but most of the wallspace is used in a similar fashion. |

You'd have nothing to worry about as long as you weren't trying to mug me - or anyone else! I've been collecting swords for nearly 10 years and have a collection of close to 30 of various styles and cultures (it changes as I sell some and acquire others). I may post pictures of some of the rest if there's interest. My Champion Disciple is my first lightsaber, and I really don't think it'll be my last! This is a very cool community you folks have here, very welcoming.

No intention of any type of mugging either from me of you or from you of me
 Besides given likelihood we're at opposite sides of the world probability is very low.I just remember seeing your Saber then scrolled down and was like WOW again. It bares no resemblance but my first thought (from the perspective of the camera angle suggesting low ceilings) was that attic stash of Hattori Hanzo scene in Kill Bill. You so should in Other Sabers Gallery. Technically it ain't a Saber/Sabre but I kinda recall seeing swords of other types reading through there. |

And yes, the "Kill Bill" effect is what I was going for - I am building another wall rack right now to add 3 more katana on the left, which should be arriving later this year. |

I agree it would be nice to see your collection in the Saber Gallery, you have a Disciple and I like Disciples (I own one myself!). It qualifies, the other weaponry you have just happen to be in shot! (Impressive collection BTW!) kind regards, For Tyeth p.s. I don't know much about katana, but loved one I saw called "Dew on the Grass" (don't know how many folds it took to make though) |

Elizabeth12 and Master Dain you both have very lovely collections. I love seeing the surroundings as much as the sabers themselves. Even or expecially when their surroundings are not quite saber related it just goes to show where your sabers fit into your life and the space you call your own.
Some fantastic inspiration and ideas have been expressed and displayed far. Like Idp's lego stand. I'm looking forward to seeing more as others chime in. |
