Also I've been thinking of buying another saber, possibly an archon or a vengeance... But my parents were mad enough about me buying one lightsaber ("waste of money") so I might have to hold off If only they didn't have access to my bank account... I've got the money for it!

Then see if they still think it's a mere toy and a waste of money after you thwap them a few times with the blade. Cause that V4 blade hurts... I've broken my nose on one once. I now wear masks when dueling. Haha. On second thought, you may not want to do that. Toblerone boxes make for an awfully thin homeless shelter.

I remember the look on my parents faces when i told them i was going to spend 140 dollars on a light saber.

Hi everyone! I'm brand new here, and (not so) patiently awaiting my very first saber (a Redeemer ordered from Etsy). Was curious if anyone that's recently ordered or received theirs from Etsy knows what the rough time from order to when they received it is. Really hoping to get mine by Halloween (ordered Sept. 18th). Sad I won't have it at NYCC tomorrow, but I knew going in that I'd never get it before then.

Gotcha. I put in in orders about 6, 5, and 4 weeks ago and they're still in confirmed status so I would wager we're still sitting at the 6-9 week timeframe.

I ordered off etsy 9/12. Still has not gone into the build phase yet. I don't think Halloween will happen as far as my saber is concerned. Hope this gives you a little perspective on the lead times...
