Would an 8-32 retention thumb screw from The Custom Saber Shop work on a Saber Forge hilt? Would it keep the blade in place without any wiggling? what length of thumb screw would i need? Any suggestions on what to get that would work best would be extremely helpful.

(My screw that came with my acolyte got stripped so i am trying to find a stronger alternative)

As long as the screws threads are 8-32, it will work. That's pretty much the universal size screw for blade retention. As for the length, measure how long the screw that came with your acolyte and pick the one that matches.

The thumb screws work in SF hilts (I have a few myself) but length can be an issue. The Venom and Disciple work great (I'd bet your Acolyte would be fine too), but the retention screws are sunk too "deep" in my older style Gladius and the Epoch I used to own to work with the standard screw.

They are a little long but that the shortest you'll find them. I'm currently working on modifying my Phoenix with brass thumbscrews but I messed up on one; depending on the saber, you might have to shave/cut off a bit from the thumbscrew. That's what I did, I got a small hack saw, a clamp to hold it done and went at it with fine sand paper after cutting about an 8th of an inch off. But 8-32 is the correct thread size.
Light and darkness, you cannot have one without the other. To achieve equilibriem you must be in harmony with both; the path between.

You can also find those screws and thumbscrews at Home Depot / Lowes / Generic hardware. Nothing wrong with TCSS but shipping is painful on little things.

Keep in mind your screw hole threads are likely messed up too. If you just got it from SF, send it back for warranty repairs before you tap a new hole/threads

Actually I tested it with another screw that is on the saber; it's the one right under it if you look at Oracle pics. Fits perfectly without issue just like it's supposed to. I go back and forth to make sure that there's no difference.
