Just to show a side-by-side comparison, here's a picture I took a while back. On the left is my Dark Lord Relic running a tri-rebel DR/DR blade (white FoC), next to my Saberz Dark oracle set to full power on the red die of the RGB tri-rebel installed in it.

The difference is unmistakable, and I absolutely love the deep reds. I willingly sacrifice a little brightness to keep that red color to the eyes. Here's a nice selfie shot of that Dark Lord Relic using a Saberz Starlight blade. Just look at that red glow.

How is that Starlight blade as compared to a Saberforge one, by the by? I'm curious and I can't really ask anywhere else.

YES HAKE! I was expecting you to come and show it off hahaha!

Ryan: To "describe" the difference, I would say the Starlight blade is more evenly lit than the SF blade, which lose a bit of it's brightness near the top.

What a fantastic red. Without any hint of that orangey-yellow in the core that I dislike. Beautiful!

EDIT: -actually, this could probably be considered advertising so I removed it before anyone else had to-

If you follow the link in the third post down (OvrcAHst's post) you'll find that Kouri mentioned LED Supply. (Don't ask me for further information--I'm just repeating what was written there.)

If you're capable of wiring your own saber, LED supply stocks the XP-E Photo Red LEDs in a tri-star configuration. If not...

I'm currently looking into offering custom-colored Saber-Forge-compatible Quick-Connect LED modules, but it'll be a little while before I'll have those available.

In the mean time, as long as the forum mods/admins are cool with it, I wouldn't mind offering a service where you send in a spare LED unit or pre-wired hilt and I can swap the LED out for a fee. Maybe I should open up a topic in the Trading Post?

Since it's not a service SF readily offers (Since customs are closed atm, and they're beyond backlogged), I could see it being doable.
