Hello all,
Have a SF Gladius Hero I bought a little over a year ago. SF says no longer under warranty. Saber stopped working at all after I put it on the charger for a few hours. No lights, no sound, nothing. A dead hilt. Guessing something happened during recharge. Maybe a power surge. Anyway, I am pretty good a simple electrical fixes, and thought I would try to do it myself, since I know it would likely cost much less than sending it to SF. But I'll be darned if I can figure out how to get the guts out of the hilt. Anyone know how the standard (non-ASP) hilts come apart if at all. Cant get the guts to come all the way out the back. Seems as though wiring or something is preventing it. Please help if can. Thanks. |
