Ok so I swaped out my high bass speaker on my NBv4 build and it went in like a charm and works great and the sound coming from it is not as low as when it was installed in the sabercore saber but it sounds exactly like the high bass speaker that was on there already. The vol is set to max and it sounds exactly the same with no increase in vol or no deeper sounds but I liked the sounds perfectly as it was anyway but I just expected more out of this speaker since it was twice the cost of the high bass speaker. Sooooo, if you want good deep rich sound just get the high bass speaker on saberforge website and don't bother with this one.

Did you fix your sabercore 3.0 issue?

FYI, I had that EXACT issue on a Vengeance SC 3.0, where when the saber was plugged into the PC and I was running the editor, all functions seemed to work. However, when I unplugged it from the PC, it would only light up with no sound and no shimmer/flicker. I kept trying to burn to chip over and over and it never fixed it. Then the soundboard stopped responding entirely -- it wouldn't do anything, even when plugged into the PC or the wall socked. Totally bricked. I had to send it back to saberforge for warranty repair. That sucked.

AFTER I bricked it, I read on this forum and in the manual that re-flashing the firmware solves 90% of the firmware problems. The instructions are in the manual PDF. I wish I had seen that before I bricked mine, since that may have saved it. You may want to try it while your soundboard is still talking to the PC. Good luck!

Oh i was able to get the body unscrewed. I was going to remove all the wrappings to check all the wiring and joints but since i got that tip ill try to reflash before anything else. Ill solder on the high bass speaker first though. What i had to do was i put it in a vise and used a big leather glove to protect it in the vise and i was able to twist the handle hard amd i broke free pretty easy.

Yeah, like I said, AFTER I bricked mine, I found several threads on here where other folks had the same problem and re-flashing the firmware fixed it for them. It sounds like a common failure mode and an easy fix.

If it works for you too, let me know so I can kick myself again.

Ok so I finally got the saber core lightsaber sounding better I think so I ended up putting the high bass speaker that I had on the Nano biscotti lightsaber on the saber core lightsaber and the Nano biscotti lightsaber has the new saber Essentials speaker and I think it sounds pretty much the same as it did before.

For Sabercore 3.0 or nano biscotte? Both should be accessible via micro SD cards, so if by fonts names you mean boot sounds, then try replacing the boot sounds for the fonts with a different sound file.

You seem to have a lot of fun trashing Saberforge at your channel (and other Smiths in the hobby). It's very ironic that you would source "pre-knowledge" like this.

Again, thank you kindly!
