I had hoped to begin installing my second saber by now, but have had to put that on hold for a while. Fortunately, other saber and Star Wars related happenings are keeping me busy and entertained, including the arrival of new sabers and saber parts! For the time being, my saber family is complete! As noted in the "Top 10" thread, the only "must have" hilts I still want simply aren't available right now. So I thought I'd share the family, a couple of which haven't been posted before, and make a thread for others to share all of their collection.

Left to right: Graflex 2.0, MPP 2.0, ASP "Armorer", ASP "Martyr", ASP "Wayward", ASP "Lost Hope" and my Grandmaster staff etched by Dale Sniderhan if Shadowcrest Design.

The Trials trio

Lost Hope; my Dark side take on the Graflex.

And better pics of the etching on the staff.

I know there are some separate collection threads out there, but feel free to post 'em again here and lets see as many collections together as we can get!

Wow I hadn't realized your family was this extensive. I like your mix of the classics and your ASP sabers. The etch design on your Grandmaster is really nice, I also dig your weathered Lost Hope. Are your ASP sabers installed and do you ever find your sell part swapping to create sabers you hadn't intended.? Excellent collection Borom. Unfortunately my enthusiasm for sabers has hit a financial barrier, but hope to purchase some ASP units in the future. Here's my triad.

Thanks, Otto! I've always loved that custom Archon, and the single claw on that Fury.

Right now only my first ASP is installed. Next, whenever the budget allows, will be the thin neck.

Hi Borommakot and =Otto=,

I can only echo what each of you have said about each other's collections. They are both enviable (in a good Jedi sort of way!).

Sadly my collection still stands at one, but to me my saber is still the best one I'll own.

Thanks for sharing yours with me.

For Tyeth

(P.S. to Boro, that is definitely a unique etch on your Grandmaster and it looks crisp and well aligned)

Very nice guys. Love that Grandmaster and that gold/silver Archon!

Here's a (somewhat) older family photo of my collection. I have a steady stream of sabers coming in (yay disposable income!) so... it'll be a little while before my collection is "complete" where I take a photo and not have it outdated in a few weeks, lol.

Not pictured: full shot of the Vanquish, JQ Sabers Caliburn Apprentice, custom weathered Xiphos, and clean Xiphos. Then the empties I had in a box - Aeon, Phoenix, Archon, and 2x Resilient.

Can't quite take a new photo just yet.... Vengeance is with Jas-Ot for repair (one of the LEDs died), the Aeon is with him for install, and I gutted the Consular and shipped it off to DesertWolfInlays to be inlaid with amber dyed jade in the grooves (possibly a sprinkling of malachite too). There's also a couple that I may end up selling.

My next is probably going to be a vengeance but I want to ASP it with a reliant switch. Though I may save up and snatch a Badaxx from Genesis when they go back on sale. I'll post some photos soon, my family is growing at an alarming rate.

Here's a pic of my WIP Bookcase

All of these sabers are in some stage of work in progress. (this does not include the half dozen or so down in my workshop). Some of these are mine, some are clients. Some are nearly done (like the Flex on top, and the MPP and K4 on the stand) Some are empty waiting for their turn on the bench for install.

Fun fact: everyone one of the sabers pictured belongs to a forum member :-) (as well as everything down in the workshop)

Hey, if Grievous can do it, than you can too! Don't limit yourself. Go for it!

It seems like I always have stuff coming and going, so this changes ever few weeks

From left to right, top to bottom:

VV Havoc, SF Gladius, SF Xiphos, JQ Apprentice*, VV Acolyte, Holocron Nihilus, VV REV-N, JQ Plo Koon, VV Ardent, SF Arbiter, SF Consular, SF Bastion, SF ASP "Dark Crusader".

*the JQ is in the process of being stripped for customization (if anyone was wondering, metal files are wonderful for scarring)

Not pictured: Another ASP, Vanquish, Resilient, another Xiphos, Vengeance, Aeon, Princess, two 7-Chambers Vestige, Korbanth OWK and K4. The ASP and Vanquish are for sale, so out of the collection. And the rest are either off for install or boxed up and waiting for funds lol. I could probably box up the Consular and Dark Crusader too since I gutted those a few months ago.

Thanks!

Top is brown saddle leather from Defconbird on eBay. The original brown reptile wrap started fraying, so I swapped it out. The weathering is SF's (now discontinued) v3 "grey" weathering.

Bottom was done by one of the guys now with RGV Custom Sabers; I bought it from him empty (before he was with RGV) and had Jas-Ot install it. Ferric chloride and aluminum black weathering.... not sure what he used to age the leather.
