Hello fellow saberfans,
I just received my beautiful Silver Knight today after 20 days of shipping ( that was painful  ), anyway :- Beautiful and very simple design - Deep blue color is awesome but the color itself is not that bright. I think a 12w+ Green LED should be much brighter than a 12w+ Deep blue LED, but anyway, its still VERY BRIGHT !  - The hilt is easy to hold, confortable for hands, and not heavy compared to my Rebel. - I got the 37" blades instead of the 32" I ordered on Etsy. - Free empire saberstand, sexy. and now, its time for some pictures :     |

Confortable :  Bottom :  Even with the light on in my room, the 12w+ is too bright for my camera :  Evenly Illuminated all the way to the tip :  And the SK is a nice addition to my collection :  My next goal is to get a 12w+ Yellow Consular

It's an amazing saber, to be sure. When I was a kid, I designed what my ideal lightsaber would be. Still have some old drawings of it somewhere. Interesting thing is, ex-covertech knob, it coincidentally enough is 100% the Silver Knight. I've had plans to build one finally for years, but eventually came to Saber Forge with the concession to just buy one. Low and behold I found the Silver Knight on etsy and it was like fate.
I saved for two weeks straight (nom nom Ramen) to have the money to buy one. Go in about 9 days ago... and it's gone. I sat there for like 10 minutes just like "...what?" Not kidding, refreshed at least 6 times to make sure. I'm glad you got one man, it looks as amazing as I thought it would. I'm liking the blue a lot on that one actually. I'd planned to get yellow, myself. Have a blast with it! |

That is a pretty slick looking saber, and the fact it comes with a d-ring built into the overall design makes me want one now. That's a very nice looking saber!

Between this saber, and the Reliant, my next acquisition will likely be one of them. The only thing that could alter those plans is if the Regal makes its appearance via the ASP program. But the SK is very much in the running at the moment!

Looks beautiful. I'm considering upgrading to 12w+ and I'd like your opinion. How does a 12w+ saber compare to the 12w? Is it still bright enough that it looks like a laser blade in your opinion?

Hello my friend, sorry I completely forgot about your message.
Actually the 12w+ Upgrade is worth the price, I believe its 20 or 25 bucks. I had a 12w Rebel in Green, it was damn bright but the 12w+ is better in every way. The 12w+ LED is 30% much brighter and the blade is fully illuminated. I purchased a Yellow consular 1 month ago, now i'm waiting, but I will add the 12w+ upgrade for sure. Its so bright that sometimes I feel like i need sunglasses if its too close. However, i would tell you that even if the 12w+ LED is bright, it also depends of the color. I mean, my 12w+ Deep blue Silver knight is amazing, but Deep Blue is still a pretty dark color. I always go for brightness, in IRL, the blade is like filled with energy, its amazing. |
