that is pretty comprehensive and answered all but one of my questions. While this FAQ does say that we can order upgrade kits to take our purchase from say....warrior to champion, does the option exist to send our hilts in to have the upgrades done professionally?
Blades:

1. Consular yellow (Confirmed)
2. Epoch green (Shipped 3/8/2015!)
3. Dark Reclaimer (ASP service not yet available)

It doesn't address it specifically, but it does reference the possibility in this question:
Q - Can I buy an Initiate saber and upgrade it later on my own?

A - Short answer: Yes. Long answer: Yes, but - it requires a certain set of skills to install a saber, and without those, you may quickly realize you're in over your head, and be opting to send it back to SF for an upgrade to the tier of your choice instead later. This will cost more, in the long run, to do it this way. If you're wanting a way to buy a saber slowly without one big major purchase, I would not advise going this way, but rather look into the ASP system and buying the hilt parts and pieces to a time instead.

Unless that's only for Initiate -> Warrior/Champion/Hero upgrades only.

Nah, they do installs that range the gamut, not just initiate upgrades.

Has anyone had an issue browsing the "Recent Topics" section, where if you go back a page or two it refuses to return to page 1 unless you log out and back in?

Yup. Same here, so I wait until the SPAM has been dealt with, so I don't have to go past page 1. :side:

Hello everyone! This is my first post and I am not sure if I am doing this right... Anyway, I have one question about purchasing a Light Saber.. Can I buy one, but also order a second blade for the one hilt? Because I might want to use the scuffed up blade for dueling and the clean balde for costumes etc.. Thanks!

You absolutely can order a 2nd blade! You can also specify the length of both blades to be 26", 32", or 37". You just need to grab it as a separate item in your cart once you finish all the specifics for the saber you are ordering.

I've always had that problem, on PC and mobile both.

Also, the "The Wait Begins" thread is up to having something like 3 blank pages at the "end" of it for me, at this point.

Does anyone know if the 12W+ LEDs and the quick connects are compatible? It looks like I've seen one or the other, but not both mentioned on a particular saber. I'd love to pull the trigger on another new hilt with the champion electronics where I could swap between 2 different specific color options, and while I know I could also do this with the Hero tier at 3-6W, I'd strongly prefer the brighter 12+ LEDs, even if it's a bit more work to change between colors.

Also, I have received a SF gift certificate for the holidays, and hoping to utilize that for this purchase. The instructions received with it were non-existent, and the only thing I've been able to find on the forums on how to redeem this claim that you just pay for the saber normally, then email a picture of the gift certificate to the company and they'll issue a refund for that portion of the purchase. I have no idea if that's the official policy, or just something that a forum member claimed... also not sure if I can use the gift certificate on etsy site, or just the main site. Seems like there could be more clarity on the specifics of this process, as there is no official directions, instructions, etc... provided with the gift certificate, in the forum FAQs, or on the website.

Thanks in advance if anyone can provide some clarity on either of these topics.

I thought it was just on mobile at first but yesterday it also happened on my laptop, prompting my post. So far the only solution I know of is Brax's XD

That's what I was asked to do and I was refunded the cost of the gift certificate. It is an... odd way of doing it for sure. You do it this way for both the website and etsy. If you want it straight from the source you'll want to contact the respective customer services (website/etsy).

If the LED unit is outfitted w/QCs it doesn't matter what watt they are. So if the 12w+ LED unit has the QC upgrade then it will be swappable.

I think the problem is with the redirect in the URL, where clicking on "Recent Topics" will bring you to the last page you were on, etc. My best solution (convenient on PC) is to bookmark https://saberforgeforum.com/forum/recent?start=00 in the browser rather than https://saberforgeforum.com/forum/recent. On mobile it may just be quicker to just change the URL (page 2 would end in "/recent?start=20," so just change 20 to 00).

Quick connects are small plugs attached to the end of the LED wires, that way the component can be swapped without breaking out a soldering iron.

Thanks. I thought I looked through the thread and didn't see it. Might have missed it though, this thread has a TON of posts in it.

Deleting my browser history/cookies tends to fix this for me, but this workaround is much quicker!
