Hello :)

I just received my shiny new ASP saber. Review will be coming after it's constructed and named. I ordered the dissident switch, which is what I have, but it appears to have an extra hole in it. I have 2 on one side (expected) and a third hole drilled on the opposite side. Any idea what the 3rd hole could possibly be for? Thanks for any guidance!

What size is the third hole?

Hi Fenmere, Borommakot,

It could be a Hero Tier (6W/6W/12W) switch section as they need a hole for the kill key/recharge port and two holes for the Activation Switch and the Aux Switch.
I could be wrong but I think that is what you have got.

kind regards,

For Tyeth

For Tyeth is right. Seems like they must have had an extra one meant for a Hero saber and you got it.

Unless it really bothers you, I'd keep it. Gives you options if you ever decide to add a recharge port or a board that needs more than one activation switch.
