TOPIC: Champion Tier Archon in 12w+ Cyan

Hey, guys.

Got another SaberForge review for everyone. Here it is: the Archon. I got this as a birthday gift for my good friend Jordan Leong since he's like a little brother to me.

The pros of this hilt are:
The detailing of the saber is beautifully done.
Very lightweight in comparison to most hilts I've held/had.
Solid construction.
Light enough to be used as a one-handed hilt.
Enough room on the hilt for a two-handed grip.
Multi-vented pommel makes for excellent sound quality.

Cons are:
The silver aluminum section of the hilt that curves upward in an arch is sharp enough to cut the skin (not enough to draw blood, though).
The aluminum box at the top of the hilt under the emitter shroud might get in the way of gripping the hilt higher up.

So, that's my take on the Archon. Here's the video review (the actual review doesn't start until 15:50. I did a lot of yammering on, my apologies).

Great Hilt. At least you got to hold it and have a play before it gets gift wrapped and passed along to its intended recipient. Is Jordan expecting it or will it be a complete surprise?

and maybe even Death Star II (again)...


With Jordan and your mentioned kid sister sharing the same Birthday and he with an inbound Archon, what's your Sister going to get?
Or is that where the anticipated ASP comes into play?
