Here are two designs I will be getting down the road. The silver one I call the Immaculate which has an arctic white colour. Though, after seeing demos of the new "frost white" on YouTube, I might go with that instead. Reminds me of TES elven design.
I haven't thought of a name for the Sith one yet. I'm also not sure about the silver pommel. At first I thought it was a nice highlight, but now I'm thinking it might be too big for that and would look better just all black. Immaculate: Hope Slayer: EDIT: Thought of a name for the Sith hilt. Hmmm that does take the eyes off it somewhat and balance things out a little more. However, one of the things I liked about the other hilt was that it had the same angled slice look of the emitter, but in the opposite direction which gives it a nice asymmetrical look. Actually, if I could adjust the finish of the emitter portion to just below the windows there to be silver and the rest black I think it'd look great with the current pommel. But the emitter consists of everything right down to the switch section which is too much. Is that something I could custom request?
Something like this is what I'm picturing (a little Paint Shop Pro editing). Although, the original emitter two-tone doesn't look bad. I just really liked the "reverse-oreo" look. |

Of the three looks, I find the third the most appealing, with the two-tone emitter, thought I gotta say they all look pretty nice.

I gotta say, I'm actually warming up to the Venom pommel idea the more I look at it. I do like the mostly black, and the subtleness of the two-tone pommel gives it a nice balance. Well, at least I have a lot of options to choose from and certainly enough time to think it over lol.

I've designed a few that had the Silver emitter and silver pommel with a black body and black switch.
I did it purposefully as it reminded me of a standard image of a wand and one of my nicknames is Magic

I'm having way too much fun with this saber builder LOL. The epoch Switch my be my fav since it's slim and gives a nice choke point for gripping the saber.

Some of the designs i'm seeing from you guys are absolutely stunning! Its given me alot of ideas for my own ASP pick!
I'm having a really hard time narrowing down my build. I got my email today from saberforge asking for my list and I hope there isn't a huge rush to respond because I just can't decide yet! One thing is clear: When ASP all goes live and you can actually order specific parts...i'll be ordering like 6 different emitters! I'm pretty happy with the avenger body and the dissident body (for the leather wrapping) and I like the exile switch section but holy cow I cannot settle on one emitter. I'm stuck between the dissident, avenger, jade, vengeance, rebel, and reliant. Hows that for picks? Haha! I seriously love the design of all six of those emitters and I keep going back and forth yet they all look so damn gorgeous! |

I've another design configured, attempting to make a replica of the saber used by the
Jedi Master in the Old Republic "Deceived" trailer. Now, I am very aware that SF makes the "Reliant" and it is approximate to what this saber is, but I'm not particularly a fan of leather on a saber and I personally would like to have the name "Deceived" because, well, it's from that trailer Here is the original:
