I wish I had the time and money to invest in a full Malgus costume. I've been wanting to do that since SWTOR launched, but good lord the work involved in a good costume... I'm not a crafty person. At all. This saber definitely needs a legit costumed model to shoot with it, like Sal has done with the Rebel and Exile.

I'm just glad my girlfriend shares my devotion for Star Wars. Like it's actually incredible. We have all these Star Wars centered plans that make me freaking happy as hell.

I know I'm a bit late to the party here, but that lightsaber is motherflippin awesome! :woohoo: I've really got to start saving my pennies, dimes, credits, gold-pressed latinum, etc. for a saber of my own.

I agree with Orion that KOTOR might help your cause, but be warned that it could cause some confusion because if you play as a female, Revan will be a woman. Some of us may think of it as charming AU, but I imagine it might be confusing for someone's who's just getting into things to be told it's all wrong. (On a related note, I've been telling myself for years now that someday I'll make myself a Revan costume. Someday, someday!)

Also pre-ordered my Juggernaut today, with just a 12W red LED. Gonna do the rest myself. I'm really looking forward to this hilt! :)

A staff of this would look awesome... Its such a pity I'm trying to save money rather than spend it at the moment.. After the second half of last year where I bought 9 new lightsabers in about 4 months..

I hope SF keeps this as one of their standard models after this initial preordering run!!

On the Etsy shop, there are 10 hilts left. If you want this brutal hilt, be hurry!
And SF said they will add this one to permanent lineup "later in this year".

Nice review, I to hope this makes the standard list of Sabers on the Saber Forge site, beautiful Hilt. Funny thing though I had an idea for Hilt like this years ago, mine was based on a Gundam that used a Beam Saber similar to the Juggernaut Hilt.

Reviving this thread to post some updates on the saber. I finally got it back after being on my regular installer's bench for three months while I was sidetracked with a baby and he was sidetracked with a massive run of Kylo Ren helmets.

I had the LED swapped out to be running a tri-cree deep red LED instead of the original SF 12w red. All three dice running at full power on this one. The richness of that red is beautiful. Also had the control box removed and the switch recessed into the hilt, while adding a recharge port to the second switch hole (which had been occupied by a dummy switch before). The installer's touch was adding the red thumbscrew, which I think complements the Malgus look more cleanly.

The result is much easier to wield. Where the box before forced me to hold it one way only, I can now comfortably rotate my hand as needed.

Hey, can anyone tell me the inner diameter of the Juggernaut handle?? I'm planning a DIY ASP build, using the Juggernaut handle and wanted to know how much room I have inside. I really hope it is 1 3/16" inner diameter, that would leave me with enough room to install my obsidian board and battery pack.

Thanks!!
