TOPIC: Question for Heretic owners

I'm curious regarding two details with the Heretic. I ordered one but won't be in for a bit so I can't verify before I submit my next order.
1) When you shop for a blade plug it asks you for length, which should I be looking at? 2) The heretic has a mention that it's not compatible with ASP parts. I assume this means the pommels won't fit at all right? |

Pommels will fit, nothing else because the saber is one piece. Not sure about plug depth though.

For the blade plug, I would say 1" to 1.5" inch. The blade retention screw is about 1/2" away from the inside lip of the emitter, so you won't need a long blade plug.

Put in the order notes "Blade plug is for a Heretic" and they will get you the correct size. I believe all sabers now come with a Black Elite or a Silver Reactor plug; at least all of the empties I've gotten over the last few months and the stunt I just got off Etsy did.

The pommel threading is the same, but keep in mind that ASP pommels are designed around the 1.5" diameter ASP/Elite body, not the 1.35" diameter Apprentice/Shoto body. So an ASP pommel may be oversized compared to the rest of the saber, and give a very noticeable lip/edge where it meets the body of the saber. Some "smaller" pommel like 09, Epoch, or Fury may work... but larger pommels like 01, 05, or Rebel may look awkward. -source: putting an 02 pommel on my Consular and Arbiter |
