Quick question (sorry if this is in the wrong place)

Does anyone happen to have photos of the shades of blues that SaberForge offer ?

I know majority of cameras don't do the blades or colour justice but just so ive got a rough idea of what to expect when I place my order I wanna get the right blue for my Saber : )

Any pictures will be much appreciated

Cheers folks : )

Yeah, as you already know, cameras suck at accurately picking up lightsaber colors. But I'll do my best with what I currently have:

Deep Blue

Light Blue

Arctic Blue

Cyan

Is there a particular blue from the movies that you're going for? Usually it's easier for people to say "I want a RotS Obi-Wan blue," for example, to which we would reply "deep blue is the way to go".

Hope this helps!

It's a shame that cameras can't pick up the true beauty of the colors
All ways in black or white. Why not grey

I'm leaning towards the deep blue currently but another choice would be the Anakin/Luke blue below : )

Hmm, for ANH blue I would suggest medium or light blue. Deep blue is perfect for the RotS blue that you see in your sig, Starkiller, but is too deep for the lighter blues you find in the original trilogy.

Yeah, the thin necks can be disassembled. Here's my empty Redeemer. The copper and brass neck pieces are threaded together, and the black grenade section too, but I think they may be glued and I haven't been able to separate them yet. But I know for a fact that the copper and brass pieces are threaded together. The activation box itself also is removable, but the bottom half of the hilt is one piece.

I'm guessing the colors from left to right are. Arctic, light, medium, and dark blue.

The one on the furthest left is Cyan I believe! You can tell because there is a lot of green in it

Since my first saber was Artic Blue I tend to think the far left is Artic Blue, but we all know how distorted a camera picture is!

There is a green saber on the wall left of the ones pictured. It's casting green light next to the far left saber. It still might be Cyan, idk, but the green saber is contributing, either way.

I'd really like a saberforge blade that comes in close to this color:

Would the Cyan be about right, or do you think I would need to ask for a customized color?

I've tried - I dunno if it's the lighting in the video or just me getting old, but I have a hard time seeing a lot of differences in the spectrum as he goes through the brighter blues to the darker greens.

I work in building supplies where color is crucial. So many of my customers try to pick out colors off of a printed page or from a computer, and usually have it end up being different than they expected.

Please understand there are variances caused by screen settings or printer settings. The best thing I can advise is that every portion of the video is shot using the same conditions so rather than using the video to judge the exact color your color choice will be; consider the video as a reference to show the differences between the colors. (which one is lighter, which one is greener...)

Seeing something in person is always the best method for choosing a color, but with that not being an option just be thorough in your research and be prepared for slight variance from your expectations.

@BZArcher SaberForge will be releasing two brand new shades of green very soon, Mint Green and Lime. The Mint Green is VERY close to the color you posted.
