i thought for a long time that this was a german thing only.

George Lucas had an interview with N24 once. He was asked to say "The Star Wars quote of all Star Wars quotes". So he answered "May the force be with you" and the translator obviously didn't know the quote so he tried to make sense of what he heard as "May the 4th be with you" so he translated it into "Am 4. Mai werden wir bei euch sein" (We will be with you on May 4th)

Never heard that story about George Lucas interview story but how did the translator not expect "May the Force be with you". Lost in translation at the moment I suppose.

I'm thinking I'll watch ANH tonight for old Obi-wan!

Cool story. I am looking forward to making my first saber order. I want to get the Epoch before they discontinue it for the new one. Anybody know of any sale going on for Star Wars day?
