I got my grab bag today! It's not the Hero Exhalted that I am waiting on but at least it will keep me going and I can start practicing with it...

I am having problems uploading pics here for some reason but I will try to post the pics again.

The box was in great shape,, the hilt and blade were nicely protected in bubble wrap.

They sent me the Dark apprentice LE V4 ... it has windows so I like that... they sent it in blood orange.. no complaints about that... The hilt looks new,, the blade looks good too..

Sounds riveting! I have a couple Ultrasabers as you probably know, so I can definitely appreciate a cheap yet useful saber like US' models.

Glad to hear you have some new Sabers to keep you entertained, I just wanted to point out I think Eddlyss64 typed "cheap yet useful" not "chrap"!

Andi-Jae EL. I agree the Exhalted is a great looking hilt. . I should have it in about a week or so. .. I went with the standard finish and I like that the thin black neck piece next to the brass piece comes in copper now like the redeemer. . I went with blue and green and I guess together it turns to cyan ... I need to figure out why i can't post pics here. .. need to some the problem before I get the Exhalted. .. take care !

Congrats on the Dark Apprentice, I own two of it's big brother the Dark Sentinel (in VA and GB). It's a great hilt. I have about 18 US sabers with my favorite being the Prophecy.

I also have an Exalted on the way, got a Champion tier with Amber. Do they use the Redeemer emitter for it now? That's cool, I like that emitter color scheme even better.

I used to have a regular Scorpion in the forum color Pyrostone Orange, it's a great looking saber, a bit heavy for a smaller guy like me though. It would wear me out fast.

Fire Orange looks good on that Dark Apprentice.

The popularity recently seems to be hovering around Prodigal Sons and Exalted.
Excellent choices and do not disagree whatsoever.

An interesting finalist you have referenced there and with complete agreement to Prowl's comment about weight, I can say with personal experience that it's not exaggerated. My first Review contained that Hilt and whilst the Review itself may not have been comprehensive (primitive at best) it did (hopefully) illustrate the qualities. Nice Blade Colour with your Dominix and as a Grab-Bag too.

Darth Crain, that is an awesome saber! I hadn't heard of the Grab Bag until I saw this topic. I had wanted a less pricey saber to learn how to do tricks before moving on to using my Saberforge saber and this Grab Bag from US is the perfect solution! I have another tab on my browser right now looking at the options. :D

Congrats Darth Crain to getting your first grab bag.
I didn't know anything about US as I just recently got into sabers but like you I did order a Grab Bag in NOV 2015 and I got a Dominix LE v3 in RED with a 32 inch blade. I love is saber and will be my go to saber for stunts. However saberfore blades are superior and I would use them for dueling reather than US ones.
My next US will be the Azure Reaper if i have the funds available after all my SF purchases. Enjoy

Curious mate, did you pull the trigger on the Crimson Scorpion? :whistle: Forgot to mention also, the pictures show it as orange. In person it's far from it, the redness on the Hilt is much fuller and deeper. ;)
