TOPIC: 12W+ Green Champion Prodigal Son - Viridian Sound

Well, it has happened. After a long 15 week wait, my saber has finally arrived. There is not enough that I can say about this saber. It is everything I could have asked for when I ordered it. From the exquisite craftsmanship, to the extremely ridiculous brightness, the Prodigal Son has exceeded my expectations. When I was 8 years old, I discovered the Hasbro and master replica sabers. These were my dream back then, and I knew I just had to have a Luke ROTJ one. Although, I never ended up buying one because of the really thick neck they had. So now, 8 years later, I went online searching for an "accurate" Luke Skywalker ROTJ hilt, because I just knew I had to have one. This lead me to the saberforge website, and I couldn't be happier that this was the company that I went with. The craftsmanship and detail on this saber is not comparable. The SaberForge Prodigal Son was exactly what I was looking for, and now, my 8 year long dream has become a reality. Now, on to some pros and cons:

Pros:
- Extremely accurate to ROTJ, exactly what I'd hoped for
- incredible craftsmanship
- Sound is fantastic, very close to the ROTJ sounds as well
- Extraordinarily bright, better than any saber I've ever seen.
- Included Tri-Ring/covertech belt hook that was not even requested (Very grateful for that)

Cons:
- card on the control box slides a lot, but I have already found a solution, and my magnetic tape is on its way.
- Minor scuff on the top of the grenade section, not even really noticable.

Other than that, this saber is near perfect! Exactly what I hoped and dreamed for, I couldn't be any happier. Worth every day of waiting, and every penny spent. Now, PICTURES!!

I could only say (as I have said before in the 'Wait Begins 3.0' thread): "Good things come to those who are willing to wait"

Congratulations on finally receiving your PS, LSkywalker3! I could imagine how happy you are to have all those wait finally paid off!

By the way, how are you planning to address the issue of the ever-sliding-too-easily card on the control box by using magnetic tape? Is there any video or thread that perhaps we could refer to?

Very happy for you LS3! You were one of the first forum members I saw that also ordered a PS. I'm very happy for you right now and can only imagine how excited you are. Kudos to the mailman for coming back!! I'm also happy to hear that you don't have any issues with yours. Did you find any rattling of the LED? The switch plate seems to be the ongoing them for PS owners. Let us know how the magnetic tape goes. Good luck and enjoy, your wait has come to an end!

Congrats on the saber, LS3. I'm happy to hear that absolutely nothing is wrong with it. You must be very happy right now, you've been waiting a LOOOONG time for this! Hopefully I'll have the same luck when I get mine, which should be seen since I'll be hitting 14 weeks tomorrow!

If you can, try to get me that measurement... based on pics I've been seeing, I'm starting to think the little screws I got may actually be too small.
