What are the exact font yours wanting to load, presuming they are available on Saberfont, if I have them in my font collection I'll be happy to load some onto one of my Prizm sabers for you and see if I have any of the same issues.
The exact fonts I'm having trouble with are Dark Lord Unleashed, which is on Saberfonts and The Old Republic Jedi and Sith Editions which is a CF default font.
Extra files don't hurt. I regularly pop CF fonts onto NB and CS setups.
The trouble is, you can't add a new font to a card that's already setup. You need to setup a new SD in a temporary folder on your computer, format the SD, then copy the contents of that folder in one sweep. Long version is:
1) Make a new folder anywhere on your computer. This is where you'll temporarily setup your SD files.
2a) If you have working settings and/or fonts on your SD card that you want to keep, copy them into the folder made in step 1. Otherwise, …
2b) If you're starting fresh, just extract the contents of the default files zip into the folder from step 1.
3) Remove any fonts you don't want from the temporary folder. Add any fonts you want to the temporary folder.
4) Format the SD card.
5) Copy the contents of the temporary folder to your SD card. Drag-and-drop can be unpredictable, so you're better off using keyboard shortcuts. In the folder window, CTRL+A to Select All, CTRL+C to Copy, then over in the SD window, CTRL+V to Paste.

The entire process is mandatory any time you're making changes to the soundbank audio. It doesn't matter if you're adding a font, removing a font, or just changing a single swing sound. You MUST wipe the SD and bring over all new files in one motion.
The only files you can edit without formatting are the text files.
Yeah, I'm following these steps. I've tried multiple times to format the SDcard additional times and do fresh installs/downloads of the fonts because I've heard some people mention they can be a bit weird. But no good.
