Seriously, dude. You have that mirror polish dialed in. Wow, that's impressive. Usually, I like Kota inspired hilts looking a bit more grungy, but it's hard to argue when it looks so darn good. I like the addition of the D-ring too, that's a nice touch.

Quite nice. Sometimes a neat simple design just speaks volumes. Your Dissident does that.
I caved in on the Dissident after sitting on the fence for over a year. It's on a plane from SF now to me.

I caved in on the Dissident after sitting on the fence for over a year. It's on a plane from SF now to me. What finish?

It's not a standard finish.What ribbon did you use? I might swap mine out with a leather strip or something, depending what SF might have used. |

Just an off-cut piece of material (polyester/cotton blend) that was stained, burnt and scrunched into a wrinkled tattered mess. Was then torn into multiple strands/strips and wrapped over the two 12mm AV switches..

I don't know much about this style of saber but it sure looks really nice. Still trying to make peace with the tattered wrap that is needed. The silver parts are so pretty... um perhaps not quite the descriptive word and effect that you are wanting lol. It's a deadly looking saber.
Thanks for the additional pics and it looks wonderful in all those blade colors.
