The Green Day Blade like all the Day Blades by Saberforge has a core effect, meaning unlike the V4 Infinity Blade, not all the tube is of the same effect. There is a deeper hue giving a border wrapping around the core.

When this one first popped up I liked the all black finish you can get with it, but seeing your saber up close i am really digging the standard finish....i like the way the black lines stand out with the silver color of the hilt---really cool! Was a little surprised with your choice in LED colour however it doesn't detract from the effectiveness when matched with the dual toned Standard finish. Nice addition to your Collection. As you reference, a different Thin Neck styling from the SFOT and may just have to be one to be included as well.

I would rank Shadow Hunter quite highly. Something about that Gladius emitter turned thin neck that makes it a standout, which as far as I know, I have not seen anything like it.

OvrcAHst, I bet you thought I was going to get Deep Red or Medium Red. I have those two wonderful colors for other hilts in mind. ASP Ares will get a Deep Red.

These new Day Blades are wonderful. A lit up LED in a Day Blade loose some of that "artificial" brightness from the standard V4 Infinity due to the off-white-pearl plastic tube at night. But Day Blades do actually show the LED color much more accurately at night. During the day, there is no contest.
