Hi guys,

Sorry, I'm french and I have many difficult for read English.

Today, I want to make a biggest command for my christmas on this website. I want that :

Acolyte Hero Edition
Weathered finition + covertech
First blade : Green / Second blade : Yellow
32 inch, with sound.

But, I have a big question, because I don't understand. Seriously.

On the Hero's description, we can see :

-12w high power LED
-Includes THREE blade colors, you chose two 6w colors that mix for a third 12w color.
-2x Light up AV switches, that match 6w blade colors
-Spark Color FIVE sound font soundboard upgrade

But... On the configuration, I have two blades for the colors only. The third is a mix, okay. But, what is the option RGBA (+5$) ? What is different ? What do you mean by "infinite color" ? And finaly, how it works ? I have two buttons ? One for Green (6W), one for Yellow (6W), and 2 pushs Green + Yellow = ... Blue (12w) ?

And, other question : Can I disabled this sound ? Because I work in french lightsaber's academy, and the sound is not very pretty with 40' peoples around me.

Sorry for my elementary's questions, but I have many difficult for understand the English, and the price is very high ($414...) I want to be sure.

Or.. Maybe Champion's edition is better, with that :

Acolyte Champion Edition
Weathered finition + covertech
Blade : Green 12W
32 inch, with Viridium sound & quick connects.

But... Where I listen the difference between "Viridium" and "Crimson" ? And the Quick connects, really important, really good ? Because I can't choose the Quick Connect for the Hero's edition. Finaly, what is the "Spark Color FIVE font sound" for the heroes edition ? What is different ?

Thanks guys. May the force be with you.

Ok Hero sabers you can get fixed colors or infinite(RGBA). (Red, Blue, Green, Amber)All of these colors on one LED. Having four 3w leds that mix to make infinite colors. Unmixed colors such as red blue green or amber by themselves not as bright. Buy choosing your colors to be fixed you will get 2 green and 2 yellow on your led. This will limit color options but they will be 6w single colors and 12w when mixed. Viridium sound font is the (Light side or Jedi) Crimson is (Darkseid or sith). Champion sabers are great I have 2 but Hero's have more options. I would order both blades with (RGBA) to get infinite colors(full spectrum like the rainbow)on a Hero tier if money is no object. Spark color 5 is sound board that controls voltage for the electronics. Made by Niagon Industry it's a high end sound board similar to a Crystal focus board or a Nanos bisciote board. Go to youtube to hear champion sound boards. Search Viridium and Crimson sound board and you will find video by Shameem M. Hope this helped.!

Hero colors are changed by holding the lightsaber horizontal and rotating it (like a motorcycle throttle). In order to edit the color mixes, you can either use an onboard menu or plug the saber's SD card (which has all of the sound and lighting files) into a computer (tutorials for both are here and here, respectively)

You can mute a hero's sound by using the SD card and a computer. You just have to make one of your sound profiles file-less.

Speaking of sound font, the Spark Color 5 sound font means you can customize the sounds your saber will make. You have five different "profiles" which are all customizable. This sound card is also why hero tiers can have customized colors.

Now, onto the champion tier:

Champion tier sound is not customizable. Because of that, you have to choose between the light side font (viridium) and the dark side one (crimson) (this video compares the two pretty well).

About quick-connects, it all depends on your preference. I think quick connects are worth it because they allow for more saber customization. Also, even if you don't want to buy different colors, quick connects let you update your LED when saberforge comes out with something new (like the 12W+ modules).

Hero tiers don't have quick connects because the wiring is too complicated.

Hope that helps, and feel free to ask for clarification

PS: Sorry both of those tutorials are in English

Thank you for your messages. I had not seen that it is possible to put an SD card into the lightsaber for configuration.

Color for the Spark FIVE sound, as I understand, in the computer, I could choose to completely mute the sound, or choose Viridum or Crimson? Viridium is really excellent! In your video, I saw that the person could turn it down, but I did not see the cut.

The color is really intense in RGBA? I would not be disappointed, a RGBA green is as beautiful and powerful as a green 12w?

I'm scared of the rotation like a motorcycle. During a fight that must change color every time with the movements, right?

In French cause it'll be way easier for both of us :p
Sorry guys :)

Yo!

No need to apologize for the ability to provide clearer communication to a member who can benefit from it! I think it is great that we have members willing to take the time!

As someone who never took a second language course, I think if I were to ever attempt to master another language, it would be French. Always had an admiration for that one. B)

Well I for one certainly won't try to distract you from that! :)
Though I will say that it's complicated and tricky and full of exceptions which are hard even for native speakers ^^

However, since you're here, can you confirm something for me Brax?
The two buttons on the Acolyte have the same function, correct? Or is there one for the light and the other for muting the sound?

I believe the top button controls the LED functions (ignite, deactivate, and configure), and the bottom one is where the charging port is for Champion class (and Warrior class with the recharge/kill key port installed). On Warrior class sabers without the charging port/kill key option, I believe the bottom button is a "dummy", or aesthetic button with no function.

That is what I recall in my own SaberForge education. Anybodies experience/knowledge with that button any different?
