Before we jump the gun, we should hear something from SF directly. Maybe Brax could get some info? We should be patient and see what SF says.
You give life, You are love. You bring light to the darkness.
You give hope, You restore every heart that is broken.

I actually contacted them when I became concerned about this. Got a reply yesterday.
Yes it is a known problem although those bodies are still usable with certain part configurations (probably ones that use the appropriate switches.

I was told I could request to switch my body piece. Which I did, although it means I now have a design in not super happy with.

Hopefully this all still works out, it'll be a bummer to get pieces I can't use in the UK and then essentially be stuck with them due to the cost of return

Have to say the customer support was prompt, truthful and helpful though. Their obviously going through teething problems but they're trying their best to make it work.

Good to hear. I hope they find a workaround. I'm gonna be a little heartbroken otherwise; the hilt I was most looking forward to getting uses a short body, and a switch that probably has a narrower ID than most. Thanks for passing the news along.

1) Save ASP guts for another saber (Always need more)
2) Get custom stubby guts for ASP saber (If they can fit it in a yoda hilt...)
3) ?????
4) PROFIT!

Lol dunno why. ASP saber kit was a backer reward; not up to them what you do with it. If the ASP kit doesn't fit; no sense in wasting the hilt. I didn't say sell for profit :P

Received an email requesting me to send pictures of the hilt/electronics. Saberforge says they will get it resolved. I am not sure I see a solution but I am hopeful.

I heard back from Customer Service and the solution is to return the body section and they will replace it with a longer body. Not sure how I feel about this as this will drastically change the look of the saber. I may just keep it and try to do my own install.
