You're not "skinny" you're "svelte" or "lithe." ;)

I've been searching through the forums and also through the comments and am still a little unsure of the answers to a couple questions? I welcome any clarifications :)
I have made a $700 pledge for two Champion level sabers.
1) All of Saberforge's Champion level sabers come with LED switches, and a kill key (as far as I know)
Q: Depending on the ASP parts you get, you can get a part machined for a LED switch and presumably a recharge port. How does the saber arrive to you if the LED switches and in hilt recharge are upcoming features? metal switch same as LED switch without lights?

2) Q: To preserve the battery life and the integrity of the board, would you have to take the battery in and out until you upgrade to the in hilt recharge and kill key(or use it until it dies and recharge it each time)? Seems kind of weird to provide us with that set up and then make us purchase an upgrade that would normally come standard on all their other sabers of that tier.

3) Q: Does having a kill key installed keep you from having to have your saber in (stand by) mode which constantly provides power to the saber and board? (from what I understand)

The current electonics kit use basically a warrior switch from my understanding. On, and off. So you wouldn't have to take the battery out while the saber is off, it's not powering an led and theefore not experiencing battery drain at a high rate.

A kill key is just that--a key that kills the circuit. When inserted it breaks the circuit and prevents power from being run to the board and powering anything in the saber. When taken out, the circuit rejoins and the saber has power.

Ah I see. So there I no power drain because there is no LED. So the with the current switch doesn't require a kill key. (I haven't seen a warrior tier saber switch without LED)

Will a dummy switch be installed if you order the switch section for in hilt recharge?
