Thank god you backed Kickstarter LDP, at least you can try to help. I can understand his situation, it's just the frustration at not being able to help him out that's hurting.

Definitely feel bad for the guy, but after spending so much money I would have definitely taken the time to learn all there is to know for sure about everything I'm getting before deciding to hit that "pledge" button. Something like confusing the emitter and pommel is a really huge thing to simply gloss over when it's right there in the ASP designer tool that indicates which is which.

Tbh I think the easiest way for him to make sure his saber is put together properly is to go back into the saber builder and recreate his saber with a blade. That way he can see how it's supposed to go together. The builder will put the parts together the right way and tell him if it's not. And I think if someone can show him where the blade is supposed to go (i.e. teh retention screw) that would probably help. Pictures would help lol

Currently it looks like the sabers may be shipping out by pledge tier. At least the only folks posting a shipping notification on Kickstarter say they pledged the $150 empty saber tier.

So, by tier and backer number I guess.

Man, it is almost worse waiting now that I know they're starting to ship.

Admittedly, I have been a little less than patient the last several months, but this is great news. I feel like a little kid waiting for Christmas half a year away. This will of course all be forgotten in 2.7 seconds when the delivery notice arrives! I hope people start posting their custom ASPs soon.
