Hey All, I was having trouble removing the battery and sliding out the battery holder/electronics to get to the battery. Thought I would share what I did to make it a lot easier...

NOTE: I DO NOT KNOW IF THIS VOIDS THE WARRANTY!

I did it anyway so I don't accidentally break anything else...

First, I got 3/8" polyester ribbon from Hobby Lobby and cut some strips off of it.

Then I used hot glue to attach the strips to the battery holder

Hope this helps!

Solid. I've gone and smothered on some Honey and piled on some sugar because the idea's sweet and should be sticky... 'd.

Another option is to push the battery from the back side of the holder just enough to grab the battery and pull it completely out.

My solution is from the top: remove the emitter and unscrew the LED retention screw to loosen the LED, then insert a thin long stick (e.g. BBQ stick) and gently push out the battery compartment from inside the hilt. Should work.

For my saber I simply used a black hairband. On the bottom right side of the battery holder, (beside the speaker) I put one end of the band through the hole on the bottom and fed the other end through the loop. As long as it's in the corner, the battery fits snug and the band is strong enough to pull the holder out.
