I bought this Bad Boy Nov 30th, with the sale. I got it in Medium Blue(I have enough green and dark blue thin necks) I dig it a lot more than I thought I would, I love the way they covered the recharge port, the magnet is a neat trick I used to hold my redeemer and PS(before conversion to V2) cards in place. The blade plug is really nice too and completes it. so here are some photos, sorry for the shine, but this is a really polished saber.

I went with a sabercore 3.0, I already changed the fonts to the couple Ezra fonts available.

Need to catch up on my Rebels (only in season 2 now   ) but I definitely like the design of this one; gorgeous saber and love the solution SF came up with for the emitter :cheer:

Nice! I’ve been thinking about getting one of those or an ASP hilt. Thanks for showing it off!

I have a question for my fellow owners of the Adept. Is it me or is this saber slimer then the usual Elite sabers? I've had a few SF hilts in my hands but this one feels more like an Apprentice saber width-wise, or am I imagining things? I feel that if the shroud covered the whole hilt then it would be like the usual SF hilts I've handled, but maybe it's been a while since I held one...

Here's some saber porn for you:

I like it a lot, but yes and no..lets take a few of the 2 piece elites, the phoenix, katano and guardian for instance all are elite that have a internal and external body parts. so pretty much the Adepts external body part may cover less, leading to a feel of a smaller hilt(which I like) but if the outer body part wasn't cut shorter than others would cover like any of those mentioned hilts.

Yup, that's what I thought. It is suprisingly comfy even tho there's a control box. I thought this would be a quick install and sell but honestly, I didn't expect this level of quality from SF, I think it's a keeper. Even the Count which I thought was a big step up for SF, I didn't keep.

I'm also wanting this in medium blue. Does the color fit the hilt? Also do you feel that this saber would handle dueling well since it it's a thin neck?

Color for the blade is completely a personal choice, it should be green but I like blue better thus I made it blue. SF prides themselves on Duel worthy sabers, I don't see a problem with dueling with it, but that being said back when I was able to duel, before tore a ligament in my right shoulder I preferred a very streamline hilt, nothing that would catch or dig into my hands.

Do you have to choose the optional belt clip system to get the d-ring or does that come with it regardless. If you do choose yes on the optional belt clip system would it add a covertech wheel on because I don't want one for this saber?

D-ring is part of the hilt..if you want the belt clip you need to select it, however SF new belt clip works with both the covertech and D-ring, no the covertech should not be added by selecting, but to ease your mind you can just say in your notes when ordering "don't add a covetech knob to saber clip only". Or just order the belt clip separate from the hilt.
