Growing up it was all about X-Wings, which I still love. I also really liked the sinister design of the TIE Interceptor, and the iconic TIE screech always warms my heart. But Firesprays top my list. I originally hated the design, until AotC came out and turned my perspective 180 degrees. Love 'em.

These days I've also found myself drawn toward heftier armed transports. Rebels' Ghost (I think it's model is VCX-something), the Ebon Hawk, SWTOR's defender. I had never given ships much thought until I started doing an Edge of the Empire campaign, and then later doing research for Trials of Transformation.

It's like an art deco hotrod. My favorite starship of all time, though, has to be the Milano, Peter Qull's ship from Guardians of The Galaxy. It's quick and nimble like a X-Wing, but has some space to move around inside.

I think my favorite straighter is probably the X-Wing, with the Tie Defender coming in a close second. But I'm surprised no one has mentioned practically the ancestor of the Falcon: The Ebon Hawk (Falcon~Hawk? Birds? See what they did there?) Others are the Millenium Falcon, the Rogue shadow, and I'm loving the design of the Ghost from Star Wars Rebels. If I owned a hangar bay in Star Wars. These four would be my prized ships.

But I always felt best in a Tie Advanced. My squaron back in the day ran those exclusively, always nice and nimble. If we're talking non-SW ships, give me a Viper anyday.

Hell, I'd pay to see more of anything Maul on the big screen. Sometimes I like that Star Wars can just show a weird ship design in passing and just let us wonder, but other times, I'm like "No! Tell me more!"
