So last Christmas we held a celebration for the youth I work with at Church and since it was the big thing, we did a Star Wars themed opening video.
Since making this video I've ordered myself a proper lightsaber and started a lightsaber training class. Hope you guys enjoy, we had a lot of fun making this: |

 Gaelis, Good Effort. Well done on the audio and sound effects insertion points. You timed it well with each clash that happened. Was that a Graflex I saw on the coffee table in the opening scene when the presents under the Tree were being raided? I liked your fade in with the static much like the push through the window. The Time-out at the local was priceless.What's the saying, always time for a Pint? End scene was funny. I have always wondered who is responsible for cleaning up the mess when battles take place. Now I know.Lastly, how good is reception with 'Android' phones in outer space? |

Hey @OvrcAHst,
Thanks for the comments. What sharp eyes you have! All the sabers were cheap Hasbro blade builders from our local supermarket. So that's the Anakin Skywalker from that range. I'm slightly annoyed at the number of visible props we left out, but we shot the whole thing in a day. Our live performance involved running on stage, to a great applause too! I'm most proud of our Force Push stunt, amazing what you can do with a bag of ice! The pub manager was brilliant, he met us early before opening and features as the barman. Re: phone signal, for some reason you don't get 4G in our area until you're at least a parsec above the atmosphere.

Hi Darth Vexing, everyone,
It would seem so! They came in and said they had "been searching the Galaxy for 'Droids", I thought they said they had "been searching for Galaxy 'Droids" so I handed over my Samsung phone! To Gaelis, I can recognise the type of architecture in your video and it would appear you may be down the coast from yours truly! I originally hail from the famous fishing port North of your filming location! (The one in Sacha Baron Cohen's new film) Again great work and stunt choreography! For Tyeth |
