It looks like a Lightsaber made out of a beer can. How long is that hilt? Is it even 6"?

The builder claims that it is 9.8".

Huh. It must just look a little chunky because of the way the parts line up.

I tried to recreate the exhalted on the ASP and I haven't been able as the switch section and the body have to be 2 different parts and the actual exhalted has both into one.... am I right or is there a way to include the switch in the body???

Thanks for you help

There are some seriously cool designs coming out of this thing guys!

Here's my two favourite designs so far. The red blade one I call the Warlock, the blue blade I call the Vanguard.

Here's what a six inch saber hilt looks like! I don't think you could ever wield it two handed unless you have unbelievably tiny hands.

EDIT: Venom switch will reduce this by 0.3" as well! hahaha that'd be about 5.9"

Here's mine! I call it Ars Solum, a saber for a grey jedi.
I'm gonna go with a viridian soundboard. I'm glad no one has taken this design yet. i've been working and deciding on the design since the builder came out in august, but this is it for sure.
A weapon to make me strong in battle and humble in retreat.

I've built so many using that program.
However I keep I coming back to one that seems unrivalled to all of my designs in the pieces I've combined for an assembly.
I refuse to post it though. Lol
So I will tease you with some words.
It contains 2 ASP parts (Body and Switch) and 2 current parts from SF sabers (Emitter and Pommel).
It will have a dual tone finish and will be 12" in length according to the measurement on the build page. I've glossed it over many times and everything from the lines and contours to the alignment of parts just seems to flow from emitter to pommel and I've been able to narrow its name down to 2 choices.
I look forward to the release of this build program to the public as I'm not a backer of the ASP so will have to wait as many others.
But man… just wait until you see this thing… B)

Thanks I appreciate it, it took me awhile to decide which parts should go in the design. When I build a saber I try to imagine not what will look cool but what should belong in my hand as I fight. These parts have the perfect fit to each other and the right amount of dual-tone. The pommel shroud and emitter shroud are facing the opposite direction which I thought was pretty cool.

Here is the one I bought/will be building for my cosplay.
Jedi, Sith. These things mean nothing to me. All there is, is the Force.

I don't know anything about machining or how they build the sabers, I get the electronics, but the former not so much. So I've been wondering, how is it that they'll make it that the pieces will always line up? Can somebody explain this to me, cuz I worry that the pieces on my saber won't line up? Be nice, I really have no idea, so it's an honest question.
