I just realised that the Reborn (Pommel?) gives your sabers a 1950's automobile look with the speed wings
Hah! Would be good for a 60's Batman hilt then!

Sorry it took a while to respond but the site seemed to have a bit of a glitch and wouldn't display, oh well back now! Yes I tried to use the Reborn to represent the Batman Cowl with the spines being the "Ears" but there's three of them. It might work for a Mr Spock saber as it would have a left ear, a right ear and a final front ear! (Sorry bad joke). Kind regards, For Tyeth (Currently looking for a new joke book!) |

Hi MusicallyInspired,
The glitch seemed to coincide with the "No More" thread being locked by Brax so that may have unsettled the site. I have found trying to design Sabers quite entertaining, I didn't think I had designing skills! I have posted a few pics and they have been well received so thanks guys and gals! You just saved me a job, I was about to post a link to my design as I thought you might like it! The Force is strong in you my friend. I have seen your staff design, very neat and brilliant use of the hilt handles for possible etching. They will make a fabulous matching pair should you actually get them built. And your Lunar New Year staff is spectacular, I tried to create something similar but it looked like a pair of lanterns on a stick. Keep up the good work, For Tyeth |

since the last few posts have been about using emitters ad pommels ...here is a question (hopefully some one has an answer) ...is it possible to use the POMMELS as emitters ? ...i know the confiscator does not let you do that .....but ..still

I'd love to get them made although I think it's gonna be a long process i.e. buying a few bits at a time. Seem to be just missing the boat at the moment, was gonna upgrade my warrior tier Arbiter and add a soundboard to my order but when I had the cash to do it they sold out on the Etsy store. Not sure when they'll restock, knowing my luck it'll be after they ship my hilt out! Then I was planning on ordering a weathered Bane hilt but they just went out of stock too. The item description does say it comes in 5 finishes so it might just be a case of ordering one and choosing the finish in the comments section. Trouble is after the weathered version went out of stock I warmed to the idea of an all silver one and doing some custom light weathering myself so now I'm torn between the two. There's an all silver one in the review section and boy, does it look sweet! Just gonna wait for a reply then decide. Also gonna spend a little more and get the warrior tier with quick connects instead of just the hilt then I have the option to upgrade to champ tier when the ASP is launched. I'll get there in the end, scratch that, it'll never end as I've just started liking the idea of a warrior tier Exhalted or do I wait and get a champion tier Chosen lol |

This is always the case too many choices, not enough money or time. However your mention of Photoshop has prompted me to learn a new trick or two using GIMP, I can now have a lightsaber in whatever colour I wish. Normally I'm a Green guy but I wondered what a blue Disciple would be like so I left it switched off and took a pic.. Then used GIMP! I think it worked ok! It's certainly a useful trick to get an idea of what a saber may look like. Thanks for the inspiration to learn something new, For Tyeth |
