Maybe someone could build the rest of the Turtle Sabers, For Tyeth Ya know, the Shredder toy I had as a kid in the early 2000's came with swords that had a handguard that looks a lot like the Viper emitter. Looking back, I wish my brother and I hadn't donated our all our TMNT figures--they were really cool. Oh well, they're (hopefully) making some other kids happy now. |

Hi Jaden Korr,
I can only put this down to a case of serendipity as I wasn't a big fan of the turtle franchise and hadn't seen that action figure so any similarity is purely coincidental! Nice touch of benevolence and Jedi-mindedness donating your collection though, it's good to give! @OvrcAHst, thank for the compliments, I try and think of the things that are iconic to a subject then look for the best ASP parts that represent those design cues. kind regards, For Tyeth |

Thanks for the kind words, but in this particular case it was more of my brother and I being teenagers at the time and thinking we had out grown a lot of our stuff. |

Light casts no shadow.
Gather round younglings! I'll spin a legend of long ago, in a galaxy far, far away! There are those who have tread the gray paths before. Many wise masters say this is a treacherous path, treading a blades breadth between savior or conqueror. One tread such path without such limited vision! A zealot in the service of an Emperor long gone (thanks Disney) as an Imperial Knight, this young human always completed any task before him with brutal efficiency. While his savage nature in sparring and blunt personality initially worried his teacher, they could find no darkness in his logical reasoning and unshakable faith in the force. You see these were not just upholders of light but those who effected the will of the emperor. This young man went on to do many great acts in the name of the Empire. And while his brotherhood was one of light, he was by far the darkest of them all. But you don't want to hear all this boring fluff! The weapon is the wielder, so if you want to know about him... gaze upon his saber! With a traditional white blade, 26" in this case. When this doors on the ASP open up this will be my first order! Customized with additional Viper Claws for something akin to the Sorcerer. Obviously mace like in profile (Form 0.5: Walk softly and carry a big stick) when ignited the 26" blade is slightly longer than the hilt mirroring the Nagamaki in form and function. All in harsh, cold silver. Going with a Crimson sound board for personal preference and it fits the duality theme! PS: Any of you with leather wrappings, I would adore some feedback on how they hold up to excessive use and wear. This particular piece I enjoy the clean look and will have gloves to counteract any slip, but I am toying with the idea of a few more extensions for a spear-like option to round this exotic package out. |
