Then Imagine that finish on this This last pic was on their FB page but contains no description of what this finish is. Possibly just standard weathering.

I'm guessing that the one on their main site is standard weathering. Still, if you come across it at any point, please send a picture. I'd highly appreciate it.

Hey Grey93, nice to see you on the forum! Here's some pictures of the grey weathering on a Reliant and BZArcher's older model Gladius, hopefully these along with the Xeotran's Archon =Ottomatix= posted will help give you a feel for what it might look like on your Avenger:

Personally, I think it would look awesome on the Avenger. That being said, after our PM chain I looked into it a bit more and it appears these are the only three sabers that have grey weathering as a regular option. Though I'd email Justin at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. to see if this is something he could do for you, or if the main site would still accommodate it (unless you already have an answer from SF, then ignore my ramblings).

It seems like the saber I'm considering may not be that popular

The Avenger has been around for a bit, and the review section here is fairly new, so the newer stuff like the Apprentice hilts and the limited runs tend to get more reviews on account of being the new hotness. The Avenger always seems to sell quickly when it's put on Etsy.

Yeah, you know what, I think I'll go for it. I'm still very nervous how it will look, but if worst comes to worst and I don't like it, I can return it.

I'm mainly concerned about how the default button will look. The standard avenger has a red button. The weathered avenger has a silver button. I have not the slightest idea what color button the grey weathered avenger will have.

None the less, after I get it, I'll submit pictures of it onto the forums.
