TOPIC: Weathered champion Disciple (+12 Medium Blue)

Hello there!

Got my first saber yesterday and guess what? Loving it!

Ok, so I ordered it on January 3th and got it on April 5th.
12 weeks (which was what I was specting even when they said that the lead time was shorter, so no surprises here).

I don't have anything to complain against saber forge. They answered the few emails I've sent them and that's that.

About the saber:

This thing is incredible! I can't explain the feeling when I saw it and hold it for the first time.
It looks "real"! hehe
It's really beautiful and well done. I think saberforge really deserves the fame of having incredible looking hilts.

The Hilt
The size really got me! For a while I was really worried about the size. I was afraid I would find it small. I'm 5'11'' and my hands aren't on the small side. I almost canceled my order actually. Was considering to get an elite but since I was waiting for two months already I decided to stick with the Disciple.
And now I'm so happy with the size that I don't think I'll ever buy an elite. The size feels just right to me, like a saber should be. I can easily use one or two hands, the weight is also very good and feels right.

So yeah, the hilt is amazing! No complaints.
Ah, the edges of the fork are indeed a bit sharp.

The Sound
I find the sound very good. Loud and clear. A bit repetitive tho.
What I don't like is the boot up sound, and I can't understand why they choose to have an AT-ST shooting sound on the saber. People call a saber block sound but it isn't. It's an AT-ST/ swoop bike shooting.

The Led
Oh the led light...super bright!!!
I can't stare it for too long.
Sadly my mobile camera is so bad, it can't handle the lightsaber brightness haha

Oh, my belt clasp didn't came. Need to send saberforge an email about it.

Well, I'm very very very happy.
Next time I may buy a hero so I have more customization regardin sounds. (I just hate the boot up sound)

That's a really good looking saber you have, so glad you are loving it.
I'm sorry you're not keen on the boot up sound and the AT-AT but I'm sure the rest of the Saber makes up for it. After a while you will get used to the those sounds and won't care as you carve your way through your opponents with it!

Really glad you're pleased, except for the repetitive sounds, but I guess you're going to get that on these systems.

Very Fine Looking Saber! Love the Medium Blue color. I'm not a fan of weathering on certain sabers, but the Disciple is one of the ones that looks awesome with it.

I totally know what you mean with the repetitive sounds! It plays that one sound over and over, right?

But aside from that, congratulations, and good choice. I like medium blue. Then again, it's the only SF blue I've ever seen.

Excellent saber/ Medium Blue with a leather wrap. The sound is a little quirky, No Doubt. I've found that your grip orientation can effect the swing sensor. Holding the saber, with the switch facing you, rotate the saber in your grip 35 degrees right or left and you will find the sweet spot. I keep my swing setting below ,or at 4. Blircos, Thank you for sharing your Review. The pictures aren't bad IMO. Clarity is clear, resolution appears much better than normal without any graininess. Besides, with the blinding brightness of a 12+, it would be difficult to capture exactly as you see it. Saber Selfies just got another addition. As Reviews go, you've met the most important criteria. Pictures. As without pictures it's wondered, did it really happen? It definitely did.
