The Dark Red Leather looks pretty convincing to me, not garish at all. I have put my red blade in for this pic:

A 36 inch blade is really long out of hilt of this in comparison to an Epoch (my only reference point)

This is what the all red blade looks like lit up, in person their is slightly more of a blade in a tube look but it works ok as the blade outline is quite a dark red (to my eyes)

The blade plug that came with it is fine of course but I wanted a spiked look, I bought a custom blade plug off ebay with the spike, the spike fell of once and the blade plug is completely transparent so I put a few layers of my daughters red nail polish on the end to try and make it safer to have lit up... Definitely needs a lot more to make it safe to use but in the meantime:

Kinda small for my meaty hands, it does hold nicely in one hand and I could see someone duel wielding with it.

Sale Status: Definitely consider offers for it though I don't want to loose too much money on it and international postage from Australia to the rest of the world is expensive.

I just bought a Disciple from Etsy as well. Thanks for the sample time frame! Hopefully it helps reel in my impatience.

Also, it's badass in red. Nice choice.

This is how SF ships/produces orders, on both Etsy and the main site. Shipped status means they have begun building your order, and the tracking number will activate when they actually send it out. On average their time window is 5-10 business days (mon-thurs) from shipped status to actual shipping out.

That being said, that saber is delightfully beautiful. Love that red wrap; so far I've avoided colored wraps and stuck to bronze/black, but seeing that, I may need to expand my horizons...

It's a TCSS 1" Thick walled Trans Red PolyC blade cut to 36" with a few wraps of cellophane inside as diffuser material. Definitely needs diffuser material BTW otherwise it would be pointless.

The top is a white shouldered 1" thick walled blade tip with reflective disc, I followed the instructions to make the tip glow by removing the mirror, using a belt hole puncher in the middle of it before sticking the mirror back on... The red colouring is the daughters nail polish.

Not sure what it's like state side but in Australia the glue you need to use e.g IPS Weld-on 16 (an acrylic welder) is really really expensive.

Because the red tube is transparent bear in mind with diffuser material you definitely have a light in a tube look (think I incorrectly referred to it as light in blade above) which you don't get from frosted blades.
