TOPIC: New Epoch

I had accrued some damage (asphalt) and my beautiful chrome was mucked-up so I sent it in to be battle worn (cost a little extra) which is like weathering but also they beat your saber up for you! Anyways, finished result is amazing so I wanted to share with you guys.

12W Royal Blue with quick disconnects

Purple looks Bluish at the base, These colors were edited so they were closer to what they actually look like since cameras don't really capture their colors well.

Also, apparently I was given the New Gen Epoch that is being released sometime in the near future. It wasn't requested but it's growing on me. Very comfortable to wield two or one handed.

It was probably one of the display pieces used to showcase the new SF saber stands.

in some of the pictures the room appears darker than the others. I'm talking about he series of them up against the wall the Red and the Purple the room seems brighter where the others it is darker. I'm assuming the circumstances were the same for each photo. If that is the case than is that the way the camera picks them up differently making the room seem darker with the others? How would you rate them by your eye brightest to least?

Huh. The temptation to order before the "official" launch is overwhelming...

How's the balance? I'm curious about how it handles with the thinner middle (neck?). Does the best grip place one hand above the neck, one hand below?

I was not too sure of the new design for the Epoch, but it is starting to grow on me.

Top hand I the choke point, then your other hand placed under that. Very comfortable

When I saw the picture of upcoming sabers I was drawn immediately to the epoch redesign. I have heard great things from this saber and it looks like many improvements were made this time around. The saber looks much more sleek and the sharp lines from the previous one seem to be smoothed out. Looks like Im going to have to add another saber to my wish list lol

OMG THAT IS AWESOME!! Saber looks like it has been in some serious battles. In my mind this has seriously changed the finish game. Going to have to consider this for future sabers.

Yeah I sent it back to saberforge. They're still behind so it took about 2 weeks, but the end result was definitely worth it.

I didn't know you could get that option. Looks freaking amazing. Next saber may have that option.

Honestly I wish things were more clear when it came to the weathering and Finnish options, I've seen some that I've never seen before like this battle worn one and would have loved to get it on some sabers

Well, this isn't one of their normal weathering's. After it got damaged I asked if there was anything they could do (like, oh God this looks awful can you fix it). The guys at saberforge said he had a plan and had me send it in (with some extra $) and this was the result. The result which in my opinion turned out amazing. Whoever did it up there did a great job.
