Alrighty then. So, review time.
I picked up this saber, cause I thought to myself: "Hey, I live in Portland now. Saberforge is known here. I don't have anything but my Arbiter to carry around, and it's a stunt saber... I need something with sound that I can show off." So... Hero Exhalted came to be.
You guys probably don't want to know my wait time.
And um... yeeaah. So, the saber itself is extremely nice. This isn't my first Exhalted, and I love them all. I got this one in standard, and it's just beautiful and lovely. But there's 900 bajillion pictures of a standard Exhalted hilt out there, so that's not what this review is going to focus on.
First up, the operation of the saber.
When you first get the hero tier, it comes preset with 9 color profiles which are, honestly, pretty basic in setup. Blue, Artic Blue, Green, Cyan, Purple, Red, Amber, Blood Orange, and Yellow.
Some basic color shots:

Purple:
Blue:
Cyan:
But!! The wonderful, WONDERFUL part about the Spark Color 2 board is the AMAZING color editor on the board. You simply hold the blade pointing straight down, and hold down the Aux button, and you'll hear the saber boot into the color configuration menu. From here, it's really simple to navigate. You hit the aux button to cycle through your color profiles (named 1 - 9) and the main button to power it "on" and enter the editting mode. You start on the Red die, and hitting the aux button will increase that die's intensity by increments of 10, from 0 - 255. Hold the aux button down, and you'll enter decrease mode, and you can take away from the intensity. Give the hilt a twist when you're satisfied with that die (like you would to switch color profiles during normal saber operation) and bam, you're now editting the second die.
I did this with all my color profiles, and made some truly unique and awesome looking colors:
Very strong hot pink, or magenta:
Really nice "Ice Blue"
And just incase anyone wants to know what all four die at 255 intensity looks like (and yes, it's as bright as a normal 12W+ LED at this level):
And my customized purple:
So. It's SUPER simple to do, and hellafun, and it definitely is a conversation starter.
Some comparision pics of the RGBA+ vs 2 (not fully charged) Warrior 12W+ sabers:
It's not AS bright as they are, but it's still pretty damn bright. I'm pleased with the trade off of brightness for options. It's extremely fair, in my opinion.
ANYWAY... back to emails!
