I was looking at my future purchase plans. I am wondering about the Reliant. Does anyone have the dimensions of it?

Also, besides getting in the way, what does the control box do? If it just hangs on the side is the saber available without the box?

Very popular hilt. I'm sure somebody will come along with the dimensions. Is there some specific part of the hilt you're wondering about?

You can order it without the control box but the holes where the box is mounted will still be in the hilt.

The nice thing with screw holes is that they can be filled.

Any one with the hilt, please tell me if the control box gets in the way of using the saber 2 handed.

In the videos it looks like a one handed hilt.

Also looking at getting this hilt (for the gf) and another hilt for myself. Was wondering if anyone knew whether the red button on the reliant can be changed? (either change of colour or change of button)

The red button/knob on the Reliant is decorative, so it could be removed, but same problem as the activation box, the recess and hole will still be there. Not sure if they have different colors.

Thanks for the reply :) Would it be the same situation as the battery box, just request the button be removed during the checkout?
I sent them an email off so hopefully hear back in the next day or so

Yep. Same deal. Did you ask them about getting a different colored button or just if they would remove it? Getting it in a different color would be pretty cool.

asked if either removal of button, change of type of button or change of colour lol. that was before your reply so ill wait to see what they say about the colour thing. Yeah i think matching it to the blade colour would be sweet
