Well, being the resident thin neck guru, I'm always sad when someone decides not to get an Exhalted

It IS possible to modify a saberforge blade plug to fit the Redeemer or Exhalted, just not the Prodigal Son because the inner ring of the hilt protrudes from the emitter. I've done this modification on one of my blade plugs, and my Exhalted looks amazing.












I am happy to do the same modification for anyone else who wants a blade plug on their Redeemer or Exhalted. Just shoot me a private message on this forum.

And then, if the only other obstacle standing in your way is deciding between purple or amber and not being able to use quick disconnects, I suggest thinking some more on it and then choosing one color, because the Exhalted truly is an exquisite hilt.

Anyway, that's my two cents on the matter

As always, your insight is wonderful and I stated before...your videos ultimately led me to pick the Exhalted as my first choice.

Money is my largest obstacle so the quick connects is my alternative. In a perfect world I would never have to pick any hilt because I'd have one of every single hilt offered. For now, I will back burner the Exhalted.

That being said... I WILL buy the Exhalted at some point. If I can only do one color perhaps I'll go with my all-time favorite color, blue (but which shade to pick, lol)

I don't suggest ever searching for "Quick Connect" or "Quick Disconnect" on YouTube. Do you realize how many products out there have a feature with either of those names? My goodness, I'm luck I found that video.

To order more LED units for a quick connect, do you just purchase the normal LED units (6w or 12w) and indicate in the notes you need it for a quick connect set up?

A wise man told me that you should always get the quick disconnect if it is available. The nice thing with SF is that they don't charge extra for it.
I also recommend getting an extra LED when you order your saber, because if you are like me you can't decide between two colors and you are going to flip a coin anyway. And since you are not having to pay extra for the quick disconnect feature, you will have a little extra to get the spare LED. (It rewards SF for offering the feature without charging extra and offers it at a very fair exchange. Nobody else offers a better LED for the price. Besides an extra module is less than a second hilt in the same model just to get a different color.
Use the money to get a different hilt or for the multiple thin necks that don't have quick disconnect...
you need 4 Redeemers to cover the range from royal blue to Artic blue... okay I am being partially facetious)

By the time you order your 7th saber you will have a full set of colors. (Unless we can get SF to give us some additional greens... then we will need more than 7 hilts, but it looks like the hilts are coming soon enough to keep all of us satisfied) And there is bound to one or two colors you don't want more than one of, so you start repeating colors.

It also helps address the issue of picures never showing the colors in their true light - which sounds strange - you have the full set you will know which you like and what they really look like.

Yeah, I've been having visions of the new Epoch in mint green... hard to decide between that and arctic blue. Maybe the Epoch in mint and the Bane in arctic blue...
