When you guys talk about color dies? What are you guys referring too. Are they color diodes or color discs?

Well each Saberforge LED has really four smaller LEDs called diodes. These LEDs can be different Colors to mix into a color. For example: a yellow led consists of 2 green dyes and 2 yellow dyes.

Color discs are also a real thing. Made of coloured plastic, they go between an LED(usually white) and the blade, and make for a different color. These discs can be mixed and matched as well.

Usually dies means the former of the two I described.

Just as an FYI, not to be a spelling Nazi, but the plural is spelled dice.

Yes, die/dice refer to the color of the LED, based on the material used for the semiconducting chip

So yeah, die, chip, whatever, color.

Dice always refers to the chip. If somebody calls a color disk a die, they're mistaken. Color discs are filters.
