After googling "arctic blue" and "cyan", and looking at the color blade page of Saberforge, and the video from august, I am very confused about the pictures of the colors on the webpage.

http://www.saberforge.com/colors/blade-colors

Acrtic blue seems to have a much clearer turquoise/green hue about it, and cyan seem to have some green, but less than the arctic blue.

If I had seen the pictures without labels, I would have thought that they where switched.
Could they be switched?

In the video Phil explains that arctic blue is royal blue mixed with green, while cyan is blue mixed with green. This would give support to the fact that arctic blue should have a green hue - but less than the green hue of cyan.

I only care about this because I want a blue color, but I would like something more fun than just "blue", and I already have a Kit Fisto Hasbro green, so I am specifically trying to avoid a green blue, meaning cyan.
But on these pictures, cyan is clearly the less green of them.

On the other hand, on those pictures the light blue (for blue diodes) also seems to have that turquoise/green hue.

Am I going crazy? Is it my monitor?

No you're not going crazy! As it was said (here and elsewhere) a hundred times before (hey, don't feel bad), cameras are not reflecting correctly what the color looks like in reality! In fact, the picture is going to be different from a camera to an other, making it even harder to represent a color! That's why the color in the picture and the color in the video are not ''the same''! They are, in fact, the same, but the camera used make them seem different!

I don't know if my point is clear? For exemple, no camera was able to correctly represent the true nature of the red LED. Saberforge hired a Photoshop artist to add the red lightsaber effect to all the pictures in order to make it clear that it is red!

That does make sense, of course no camera is the same when what they are trying to take a picture of is way too bright for most CDC's.

I assumed these pictures were taken with the same camera, so the "mistake" in the pictures should overall be the same. Or so I figured in my head.
But maybe not.

Maybe someone will come buy who have tried both or at least either of the colors and will tell me which is the least greenish. :)

Check out my JadeFire review in the reviews section, it's in Artic Blue. There's no green to it at all; it's like a sky blue. Reminds me on the blue of Luke's saber in a new hope. Cyan I've had (albeit not from saberforge) and it was far more of a teal, with a lot greener hue. Im 99% certain the cyan here is very similar to that.

Hope that gives you some type of answer... and there is a picture of the color in my review as well. :)

Misla, I think you may have been looking at the wrong colors. From the website color page:

Arctic Blue

Cyan

I own both cyan and arctic blue from saberforge, and cyan very clearly has more green than the arctic blue. Someone described the arctic blue as a sky blue, and that is quite accurate. What Phil says in the video is correct.
