Congrats on the saber.
Justin is quite the craftsman, I have 2 sabers currently which he slightly customized and a 3rd I had I sold to Jordan Moll. I really like the finish you've chosen. I'm at odds with myself however as an internal struggle due to which hilt the finish is on. I'm the type of person that requires canon to be canon (but that's just me personally). I would love to see this finish on something like the Phoenix. All in all though, great saber and nice mods to make it your own. Enjoy your treasure

The brass finish gives the hilt a very regal Old Republic vibe... nice job!

I'm not quite clear on which parts are which. Unless my eyes are playing tricks, the body looks silver, with a brass covering (the shroud?) and the emitter lip appears to be the same color, albeit without the reflective polish. Either way, it looks fantastic, but in the interest of knowing what to ask for later down the road, I wanted to make sure I was identifying the parts right.

I think the body which looks silver it the bronze powdercoat.

Hellrazoromega is correct, the main body is a bronze powdercoat. The color actually shifts quite a bit depending on the lighting you're in. It's definitely a lighter bronze, not like the dark color you find on door knobs and such. You are correct with the rest; the shroud has a high polish brass finish and the emitter lip is a standard polish brass. |
