TOPIC: Custom Guardian 12W+

Hi all,

As there are other excellent reviews of the Guardian on these forums, this will be more "show and tell"

But first, the specs:

Guardian, Champion Edition
12W+ green LED
Viridium Sound
Brass powdercoat on shroud and emitter lip
Bronze powdercoat on main body
Brass covertech knob and AV switch
V4 32” Blade
Length: 11.25in/29cm
Emitter width: 1.75in/4.5cm
Body width: 1.5in/4cm
Time from order placement to delivery: 4 weeks 4 days

On to the good stuff!

I love the bronze/brass combo on this saber, it gives it a regal or Temple Guard feel




The fit and finish are excellent here; no sharp edges whatsoever and the polish is nice and shiny on the brass


I designed the colors around a green blade, but yellow would also be a lovely color with this saber


Even in overcast outdoor light, the 12W+ shines!


I requested a brass switch, so Justin sanded one of their standard switches (which are plated brass) and it came out nicely






As for the hilt design itself, it's extremely comfortable to wield and spin. If anyone is considering a Guardian purchase, you won't regret it!

I couldn't be more pleased with how this saber came out, so many thanks to Justin in the customs shop for this immaculate creation!

That is so wicked looking--Now I gotta have something with Bronze and brass, or Bronze and a platinum like color. And 4 weeks from order to delivery !??! As I enter week 12 of waiting for my Etsy sabers needless to say the color of your blade matches my envious status. You lucky dog!!! From what I am hearing here Justin has a wicked fast turn around time--wish I had known that 12 weeks ago---alas, live and learn. If you don't mind me asking does the powder coating add a great amount to the cost? (All things being relative , of course).

By the by--for someone who never has--what is the best way to contact the custom shop?

Excellent thanks for the info. And curse you at the same time, now I am looking at a Fury with a similar powder coat job.

That's absolutely amazing design! After seeing this and Ottomatix's Archon, I am definitely considering using a brass finish on a future saber!
