It's likely perpetuated speculation, public opinion or non-current news.
This is what resulted in a late night internet search some time ago. Also stumbled across some written words about a possible R&D for an Infinity V5 (
but that's another story)
Not having a Facebook Account, I saved an alleged link (on the pretence of using a friends login to verify but never eventuated) so cannot confirm if
link is legitimate or accessible.
Scattered recollection was a Micro USB Port that enabled colour or sound changes and FoC for a single colour Champion Tier.
Andi-Jae EL, maybe this is just a repeat of the info you found?
Well it's definitely an actual post from Phillip Isherwood, made March 2015. At the time it looks as if Sabercore 3.0 was meant to release last summer. No knowing where it's at now. He also had this to add about it's features:
This board and battery will have a much longer lifespan, I'm hoping for 5 hours in our champion sabers. It has a micro usb port for changing settings or sounds, it will have flare on clash, BUT this is a single color champion board, not a hero board, so it only supports one color and no mixing.
