Curious if anyone has both a saberforge hero RGBA and an ultrasaber Emerald RGBA/RGBW and could comment on any difference in brightness between the two (on same color setting)? US doesn't list their actual wattage, so not sure how that compares. I have a US chosen one with emerald RGBW, and thinking of getting a SF hero tier for my next saber, but not sure if I want to go with the tradeoff in brightness with the RGBA for infinite color options, or if I should just go with 2 colors at 6 watts. If it's just as bright as the US emerald (or better), I'm likely to go RGBA. Thanks for any help anyone can provide regarding this...

Wattage isn't really a factor of brightness, so that won't help much. Neither will the fact that US never really runs their multi-die LEDs at full power.

That out of the way, spec sheets seem to show the new Cree XQ-E LEDs being a bit brighter than the LED Engin LEDs used in Emerald sabers, so as long as the optic solution is optimal, the 12W+ RGBA should produce a brighter blade.
