TOPIC: Question for the "Green Saber Club"

I have a question for the green saber club (Greysider, Dav Yeager, Eddlyss64, For Tyeth, and Flops, and countless others I just can't pull off of the top of my head - sorry ) Also - anyone else's input is welcome!

What are your opinions on Mint Green and Lime Green?
Do you own or are considering owning these color blades to dd to your green collection?
Or is Green the only true green that is worthy of the Green Saber Club

Me personally pure green only. The lime is a little too yellow for my taste and the mint has a sort of blue tint that turns me off as well. Just my .02. Hope this helps you!

Green is standard and you can't go wrong it. I have a 12w+ in my Prodigal Son. It's awesome.

I had a 12w+ Mint Green with quick connect in a custom Phoenix I used to own. I got Mint Green and Cyan at the same time as I couldn't decide over the appearance on the monitor as I knew in person it would be a bit different. Mint Green looked nice, but I preferred Cyan as I'm a bit more partial to blue. Cyan is still one of my favourite colours I've had. Mint Green to me, was very nearly the same as Cyan, but you get a slightly more green due to the 3:1 ratio.

Lime Green I've never owned. Looked nice in photos I've seen, but cannot attest to its appearance in person.

It's hard to go wrong with true green, especially if its your first or second saber and want to have an authentic looking saber. Any of them can look good in the right saber and a slightly different color like mint green can really make you stand out in a group of all 'standard' green sabers.

So Ramaloke, when you say true green, do you mean true to Star Wars? or true to Green in general?

From looking at Lime Green, I feel like that looks more accurate to the lightsabers on the screen.
(These are from pictures, and I haven't actually seen the real Lime Green in real life so correct me if I'm wrong)

From what I've seen, I feel like SF's green is closer to ROTJ Luke, while their lime green is closer to Qui-Gon Jinn.

DarthMario's Exile review video has a good demonstration of SF's lime green.

I chose regular green because to me it seemed closest to ROTJ Luke.

Green = regular green closest to the movies. Not yellow green, not blue green.

Yes I have regular Green, I like all the colours but I modified an old flashlight lightsaber to shine green like Luke's back in '83 using a candy wrapper! Been Green ever since.

Standard Green!

I'm joining the Emerald Squad with my 12W+ Standard Green Prodigal Son that shall be shipping soon! Join us.

btw: to propose alternative names for the Green Saber Club, I'd like to set forth Emerald Squad (or Squadron), or the Emerald Knights (this is an actual Fighter Squadron that's based at Luke [hehe] Air Force Base, AZ).

If we were all focused deftly on saber combat, as well, then I'd put my vote towards the Emerald Knights. Darned good name!

But until then, we ought to stay the 'Green Saber Appreciation Guild' just to look more accessible to new members (of SF and the GSAG).

My opinions on green: obviously S. Green is the top option, least in my opinion. But sometimes you want to stand out from a crowd, which is where the other colors come in.

Mint green is my second favorite green after standard. There's just an inexplainable charm to it. I've always really liked it for some reason, and I'd love to put it in a Bastion.

Cyan is on the other side of the green spectrum from mint. More blue than green. It feels like a supercharged plasma color, like blue fire, but not. Again, inexplainable. I wanted to buy a Bane with Cyan, but I'm realizing that I've got too many future buys and I still have one more computer order to make.

Lime green I don't have an opinion on. I believe someone bought a Lime Green Ka'Tano, and you can check it for yourself. It's meh. Like I said, no real opinion.

But if one is wanting to join the Green Saber Appreciation Guild, all they gotta do is appreciate some kind of green sabers!

True Green

It just doesn't get any better. I also like the Emerald Knights name. Not bad. Not bad at all...

I dislike any variation of green (or blue) but standard. Just too off for me. I really want a green saber. It's my favourite look, but I want to hold off until I get my dream saber (Prodigal Son). I'd rather not have the same colours for two sabers. I'd like some variety, so I'm thinking deep blue for my first. Otherwise, standard green all the way!
