Hey guys! New saber owner here and was wondering if there was any way to clean the inside of the Infinity Blades as there's a bit of dust that happened to get in. Also, is there a way to keep them clean when they're not in the saber hilt? Thanks in advance!

Haven't had to clean the inside, but I put a little 1" vinyl end cap on mine when not in use to keep debris out. Difficult to find in local hardware stores, but fairly easy to find online. You can get a 100 pack of them for $8.48 at this link:

I'm sure with some hunting you could find a more reasonable quantity.

I have also used the little rubber feet intended to protect wood flooring from round chair legs, that can easily be found at any hardware store, but they're bulkier.

I keep my blades in a drawer in my closet. Don't have to worry much about dirt, debris. But those end caps Salacious B Crumb mentioned sound great if you store them out in the open.

thinking about it for a sec, if I had to clear some debris out of the inside of a blade, I'd probably snake a length of 1/4" aquarium air hose down the tube to the tip (something I happen to have laying around) to act as the air intake, then put the end of a shop vac hose on the socket end, turn it on, and watch everything in there suck right out (in theory).

Thank you very much for the suggestions! For the time being, I've taped a circular piece of transparent tape over the end that can even fit into the saber hilt and doesn't seem to affect the lighting. Will be checking out those caps, though 100 might be a little too many for my single blade.

Vader's Vault also sells dust caps for saber blades. Currently I'm just keeping my Graflex 2.0's blade in the bag it came in and closing the end off.

You run a large risk of ruining the diffusion material by running anything down into the saber. Even a slight wrinkle will ruin it.

I have a few VV caps and they work great. Or just store your blade right side up as gravity causes dust and debris to settle downward.

I've had this in my blade for about a month now. Along with other small plastic jewely bead crap to create a
spark or flash effect. Hasn't Caused any problems with my diffusion film.

Oooh! Did it have a noticeable effect? Is it something you've been able to capture on video?

I recall the answers as being "absolutely yes" and "absolutely no".
